Veltwerk is an IT service provider with the main focus of providing effective IT solutions in the educational sector. I was fulfilling the roles of both engineer and project manager at Veltwerk. I have mainly been working on projects, where I was either responsible for the technical implementation, or managing the project in my role as project manager. In my role as project manager I’ve been responsible for implementing multiple WaaS, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS solutions for small offices with twenty employees to entities with thousands of end-users. Besides managing the projects I was also responsible for the contact with all parties involved in the project, this includes vendors, suppliers, third parties and management.At Veltwerk I was the go to person for all questions related to Wi-Fi, VOIP and MDM due to my experience in these areas. If I wasn't working on projects I’ve been assisting colleagues with solving incidents or searching for opportunities to sell additional products and services to existing customers to create more value.Besides Wi-Fi, VOIP and MDM implementations I have experience with several Microsoft products: Windows Server, Intune, AzureAD, O365.I was part of the project team that got Veltwerk their ISO27001 and ISO9001 certification in 2018 and recertification in 2019.

I was involved at supporting the migration from Windows XP to the new Windows 8 environment at Tata Steel Europe. I reported my progress and developments at the IT service management of Tata Steel Europe and the project teams with daily performance and weekly project meetings. As the second line support it was my responsibility to analyze incidents that are reported by Tata Steel Europe employees from India, United Kingdom and The Netherlands. The underlying cause of the incidents needed to be found through intensive contact with the customer. The incidents had to be resolved within the scope of the service level agreements. I had to decide either to cooperate with or escalate to third line support if the incident was out of my scope. I’ve been responsible for the creation and shaping the Remote Support department. I have created procedures and work instructions on the basis of best practices for my (new) colleagues. This included training employees of the newly created UK service desk based in India. Testing software and hardware after UAT are also part of the job.
