Jasper Verberk studied Civil Engineering at Delft University of Technology. In 1996, he finished his master thesis in drinking water supply. On April 2005 he successfully defended his PhD-thesis. In 2005 and 2006 Jasper worked as a post-doc at the Cooperative Research Centre for Water Quality and Treatment in Adelaide, Australia. From 2006 to 2009 Jasper Verberk worked as an assistant professor in drinking water engineering at Delft University of Technology. In January 2010 Jasper Verberk was promoted to associate professor at Delft University of Technology. He supervised several PhD students. In 2008 he started the open access journal Drinking Water Engineering and Science of which he was the executive editor until 2013. In April 2012 Jasper became manager of the strategy department of water company Evides. In May 2017 Jasper started working as sector manager Production at Brabant Water.
