I am an aspiring professional pursuing certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communication from the University of California, Davis. During my undergraduate studies, I served as a Research Assistant at the Center for Applied Policy in Education within the School of Education. This experience, combined with my coursework in Education and Early Childhood Psychology, led me to the field of Behavioral Therapy. I actively participated in a tutoring center and engaged in after-school programs, where I developed a strong interest in working with children to help them overcome their challenges. These experiences have deepened my passion for positively impacting individuals' lives through behavioral interventions.Currently, I am preparing for my Master’s program while working as a Speech Paraprofessional, closely collaborating with a Speech Therapist. This role provides me with valuable hands-on experience in behavioral interventions within a school setting. Additionally, I work part-time as a behavior consultant, which further enhances my practical knowledge as I aim to become a BCBA.
