Provide HR servicing to managers and staff in all aspects of human resources, including benefits, payroll, recruitment, training, and labour relations. Assist with the investigation and resolution of employee concerns, including union grievances and human rights complaints. Provide full-scope recruitment and selection, including ad preparation, job posting, resume screening, interviewing and preparing job offer packages. Process the salaried payroll. Administer health and welfare benefits, including enrollments, terminations, changes, and monthly billing reconciliation. Maintain personnel records and filing systems; provide follow-up as required to ensure accuracy and completeness of the files. Prepare and distribute various HR statistical reports, including headcount, turnover, efficiency and attendance. Participate in regularly scheduled Labour/Management meetings and Occupational Health and Safety meetings; provide administrative support to these committees as required. Coordinate special events, including seasonal events; provide committee/workplace leadership when required. Set-up and maintain accurate employee logs, including seniority, probation, compensation, and driver's abstract.  Maintain various statistical databases, including training, discipline, and attendance tracking. Provide collective agreement administration, including compiling union membership lists and dues and assessments. Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
