As the Research Director of the American Student Medical Association (ASMA), I am responsible for leading the organization’s research initiatives that promote advancements in medical education and student engagement in healthcare research. I facilitate workshops and seminars that encourage student participation in research, providing valuable opportunities for skill development in scientific inquiry, data analysis, and medical innovation. Through my role, I aim to contribute to the broader medical community by fostering a culture of curiosity and evidence-based practice among future healthcare professionals.

As a Special Project Coordinator at the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA), I have the privilege of leading and organizing a variety of impactful projects focused on advancing women in medicine. My role involves managing key initiatives that support AMWA’s mission to empower women physicians and promote health equity.In this position, I collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate events, and ensure that all projects align with our organizational goals.Through these activities, I contribute to fostering leadership, mentorship, and networking opportunities for women in the medical field, while also advocating for diversity and inclusion within healthcare.

As a member of the Leadership Council in UCF Student Government, I work collaboratively with fellow student leaders to represent and advocate for the diverse interests of the UCF student body. My role includes providing strategic insights on key university initiatives, developing leadership initiatives, and helping to shape policies that enhance the student experience on campus.In this capacity, I contribute to the planning and execution of student-driven projects, engage in discussions to improve campus resources, and work to ensure that the voice of the student body is heard by university administration. This experience has sharpened my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while allowing me to make a meaningful impact on the UCF community.

As the primary author of the project, I guided the team through each phase, ensuring a high-quality final product. I am excited to share my involvement with a community of driven high school and undergraduate students dedicated to advancing clinical neuroscience research and promoting equal, accessible research opportunities for all. During my internship, I honed my R programming skills and developed expertise in Bibliometrix, while navigating the Core Collection (WoSCC) database.I contributed to a bibliometric analysis program and successfully created a publishable abstract, an e-poster, and a presentation recording. My research findings were presented at a virtual symposium, showcasing my strengths in organization, time management, and collaboration.This experience has not only deepened my understanding of academic research but has also strengthened my commitment to making research opportunities available to everyone.
