Checking Japanese to English translations of Japanese manga. Making sure translations are correctly capturing the meaning of the Japanese text. Making sure the translated text is natural to native speakers and localized, rather than being literal translations.

I provide private English lessons for students living abroad. These are one-to-one lessons, focusing on English conversation, speaking, and comprehension. I create my own lesson plans and tailor them based on the needs of the students. Most of my students are adults but I have taught children as well. Although many of my students are at an English level where we do the entire lesson in English, I do have students who are just beginning to learn English and prefer me to teach them grammar using Japanese.

Worked in public elementary and middle schools teaching English to classrooms with 25-40 students. Created lesson plans and classroom materials, organized English activities, working closely with students to encourage their personal language development.

Working as a team to create and conduct English lesson plans and materials for elementary school students. Taught classes of up to 40 students, developing a range of engaging activities and creating interest and curiosity in learning about foreign language and culture.
