Caitlin Russo, also known as Jass Bianchi, derives her unique musical style from her upbringing in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, and Yonkers, New York. Her songs seamlessly blend these contrasting cultures while addressing relatable struggles like mental health and personal identity. Bianchi's music, spanning hip-hop, soul, funk, jazz, and indie rock, is a reflection of her own experiences.In 2006, faced with record label offers demanding weight loss and leaving school, Bianchi chose education over contracts, interning at Koch Records instead. From 2011 to 2015, her band HOLi MOLi toured the Northeast, sharing stages with prominent artists. In 2016, she founded the Northeast Youth Music & Arts Festival, featuring 300+ young New England talents. She subsequently established music programs promoting LGBTQ awareness and aiding adults with disabilities. Simultaneously, she initiated a music-focused program for at-risk youth in Boston.Recognized in 2019 by the Artemis Film Festival with the Best Song Award, Bianchi also joined mental health organizations as a marketing consultant. Leading Color In Sound, she's curated music for countless events and mentored numerous indie artists and musicians. Her industry presence spans festivals, panels, performances, songwriting projects, collaborations, and international radio.
