Collaborative Transformations mission and purpose is to facilitate conflict transformation and positive peace in communities beset by conflict through peace education programs in sub-Saharan, south Asian and Middle Eastern and North African communities. As a student attorney I work with other students, under the supervision of licensed attorneys, with clients who are assigned to us. Our clients are the under-represented population in the San Antonio community and surrounding areas. We perform the majority of tasks and duties as an attorney practicing in the immigration field would perform. The only exception is that our work must be cleared and approved by our supervising attorneys.

Authored memorandum clarifying venue for depositions when a state agency is a party in a lawsuit. Drafted administrative rules on mixed martial arts and combat sports. Researched state laws and federal regulations on dog and cat breeders; worked with the enforcement division in the agency to develop methods of implementation of the legislation.
