• Responsible for the technical implementation of a major transformation programme to replace end of life legacy systems with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Field Service, Project Operations and Finance & Operations. Scope encapsulated Integration, Data Migration, Reporting and Infrastructure.• The applications in scope included Dynamics Finance and Operations (FinOps), Dynamics Customer Engagement (CE), ServiceNow and On Premises legacy applications.• Ensured consistency in designs with governance across the entire architectural landscape.• Implemented a 'DevOps First' approach to cover all technical aspects of the Programme including Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Build and Release Management.• Personally responsible for the overall Global Design across all Technical Work Streams, collaborating closely with a team of twenty-five in house developers (on and offshore), the SI partner and Microsoft.• Technical challenges to mitigate include ensuring that the Azure Platform and Integrations are performant, resilient, and secure to meet legal and contractual obligations to customers.• Developed several innovative solutions to ensure the solution is secure and can pass independent audit from secure customer representatives.• Quality-assured technical blueprints and concepts, in alignment with architecture principles and technical best practices.• As part of the technical landscape, I drove the adoption and implementation of PowerPlatform within the organisation. This included consulting all the key stakeholders across the organisation, generating documentation and leading key presentations to provide a clear understanding of what PowerPlatform could help the organisation achieve.• Instrumental in assisting the business in their future data and reporting strategy through enabling the utilisation of referential architectures using Cloud technologies within Azure.

• Delivery of many high-profile business projects whilst overseeing and transforming the development practices and processes for an internal department of 20 developers across the entire SDLC.• My role involved interpreting business requirements and transforming them into detailed low-level technical designs.• I also supported, coached, and mentored the less experienced members of the development team in delivering to these designs.• All solutions needed to be compatible with the strategic architectural vision and operate in a complex landscape of in-house custom applications and externally hosted cloud applications (e.g., ServiceNow).• During this role the D365 Transformation Programme commenced, therefore my responsibilities extended to include the solution design and implementation of the integration between the On Premises applications and the cloud based D365 FinOps instance.• This involved carrying out several proof of concepts to both extract and import data into FinOps.

This role involved the design and implementation of applications that enable customer systems to interface with SCH systems. With each of these implementations liaising with our customers to determine project scope and implementation path was integral to the role. I oversaw the full lifecycle of the project including the testing, support and production of technical specifications and documentations required.As Integration Systems Architect I was tasked with overseeing changes to the internal way of developing, not just within the integration team, but in the wider development department. I implemented new strategies to progress the development teams in terms of source control, smoother deployment and improving development processes.

This role ranged from taking part in a number of substantial projects to supporting a number of business critical applications. Examples of applications that I have developed and supported include:Development – One of the development projects that I was involved in required me to update an ASP application to an ASP.NET v2.0 web application. The application created had 3-tier architecture and involved many aspects of ASP.NET which interacted with an Oracle back-end configured with PL/SQL. • Another aspect of this project was to create a windows service that would interact with a message queue (MSMQ) to create Excel documents using VB.NET.Support – I have been involved in the support of a number of business critical applications. • This included a third party application called Compuware’s ClientVantage that the company would use to measure the performance of a number of applications that were utilised by the company. • The company intranet was a system called LiveLink and I was one of two people in the company who were the administrators of the application to make sure it was working at all times.
