I have been assigned to work under the Accounts and Business Development position throughout the course of my internship programme. My scope of work under the accounts and business development department were:• Learned on how to operate QuickBooks, an accounting software.• Keyed in paid invoices, receipts, and quotations into QuickBooks.• Send email to supplier as a reminder to submit invoices for the purpose of issue payment.• Followed manager to the bank to get approval for certain relevant documents. • Key in sales invoices and SST inside QuickBooks.• Keying in Credit Notes as new transactions in QuickBooks based on purchase cancellation by the customer.• Making payments in QuickBooks according to the invoice issued by the Trade Payables. • Having a digital copy of all the payment voucher in Excel from year 2021 to year 2022. • Weekly update on bank transaction in QuickBooks to match other transaction. • Pasting accumulated claims into a sheet of paper as physical copy for the company. • Adjusting misstatements of valuations of invoices in QuickBooks to clean up errors and unbalance amounts.• Helped the CFO to record new sales of software into QuickBooks.• Showed and presented to the CFO the Statement of Profit and Loss in excel for future financial planning of the company. • Send email to supplier as a reminder to submit invoices for the purpose of issue payment. • Did filing of Bank Statements across multiple banks to keep up to date with the latest transactions. • Created a Quotation based on the required details from the Business Development’s Manager. I had to create the Quotation in excel based on previous examples. • Followed manager to get approval from bank regarding new appointment of auditor.• Assisted team member to come up with a strategic plan for an upcoming project within the company.
