CurrentAsco (a division of Montana Aerospace, SWX:AERO) is a global aerospace manufacturer with customers including Boeing, Bombardier, and Airbus.Direct report to the Group Controlling Director and member of the senior management team at the company’s two North American locations, leading a controlling team of five with assets exceeding $150 million in fiscal 2023.Highlights: Post-merger activities related to Montana Aerospace Acquisition of Asco in 2022, normalized sales to production rates (ongoing), continue to address supply chain delays, and ERP transition completed in 2023.Roles and responsibilities: - Provide recommendations and guidance on strategic direction for sites - Lead, mentor, and coach North American team members - Prepare financial reports for the Asco executive team and site management - Influence and coordinate within a matrix organizational structure - Responsible for audited financials - Report in IFRS, ASPE, and US GAAP in multi-currency environment - Guide and review business cases and capital projects - Lead forecast and budget development with senior management - Manage accounting operations for the sites through local finance teams - Ensure financial internal controls continue to be monitored and are deemed sufficient
