Overseeing that all Circulation Desk policies are correctly followed.Supervision of 15+ staff/volunteers.Organizing, booking, planning, and executing all meeting room bookings, study room rentals, and tours of the library for small and large groups.Creating and maintaining a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule for all staff. Creating advertisements for holiday and special event closings, programming events, and social media postings.Maintaining and up-keeping our Instagram account.

Planning and execution events and programs for all ages while incorporating soft and hard skills.General office managing and front of house operations daily including phone calls, customer service emails, and statistic analysis. Creating social media advertisements and paper flyers, using Canva, for all Youth and Family programs hosted by the library

Actively engaged with students during advising sessions to help determine what field(s) of study the student(s) may be interested in pursuing. After speaking with them, I assisted in developing personalized schedules for the students by listening to their interests, while also suggesting courses that will help fulfill their general education requirements or electives. Supervised the front desk during lunch breaks, creating advising appointments in Outlook, and answering phone calls from students, their parents, or other offices within the university. Collaborated with my supervisor to create customized check sheets for students with prospective courses for the upcoming semester, providing an easier look at what courses the students have left in general studies and what their next steps are within their college career. Attended meetings with the ACES advisors/staff to study monthly data, plan upcoming events, and determine what steps that we, as a team, can take to develop a stronger connection and bond with each student that came through our office door. Instructed a First Year Seminar course to freshman students at the university, speaking about the different Academic Support Systems and Networking opportunities available on campus to the students throughout their time at the university.

Supervised the front desk, filtered phone calls, and answered any questions about our program. Developed monthly PowerPoint presentations, took photographs, and helped set up and tear down our monthly events.Collaborated with the developer of the program to create a stronger, more engaging experience for the participants and helped organize our summer session for incoming college freshman.
