Qualified Barrister and currently an experienced Chief Crown Prosecutor (CCP) overseeing all criminal prosecutions in a large region with a nearly 30 year track record of handling increasingly complex and high profile cases leading to successive promotions as a CCP. Now leading on national and international agendas including Forced Marriage, Female Genital Mutilation and So Called Honour Based Abuse with previous expertise in Youth Justice, Homicide and Cross Border Crime. As a senior leader has led large scale casework and operational teams of lawyers and paralegals in Metropolitan and Non-Metropolitan areas both regionally and nationally with sizeable budgets. Has led organisationally as a National Commissioner on Commission for victims facing multiple disadvantage chaired by Baroness Armstrong, represented the CPS to The Society of Asian Lawyers, advised and worked with charities and is currently a patron to a charity, is a mentor to senior managers in Business in the Community (BITC), strong engagement with community groups, a strong advocate and public speaker championing women, racial equality and inclusivity across the National Civil Service. Past awards include Public Service Lawyer of the Year, appeared in BBC TV series The Prosecutors, a qualified mediator and now interested in international leadership roles to continue to make an impact in public service.
