* Focal Point for all vendor communications post purchase order award, monitor supplier performance in engineering and construction activities per the requirements of the purchase order, and keep the project team updated on current status of all vendor activities. * Expediting critical Purchase orders.* Identifies critical purchase orders and pro-actively.

• Issuing project expediting plan based on the project procurement plan.
• Issuing project expediting reports timely.
• Reviewing reports issued by expeditors.
• Coordinating and ensuring that all expediting activities are properly and timely executed, that information regarding status of Orders (including ASO) is permanently updated according to the update implied frequency.
• Ensuring that all necessary and accurate information and updated status of the progress of the orders (Material Status Reports) are timely passed to MM, and ensuring that all Project decisions and corrective actions.
• Expediting some very critical Purchase Orders as required, consolidating the reporting to the Project Management team, based on the information brought by EXPs. This implies the selection of critical information.

• Leading the assessment visit at vendors facility to evaluate vendors QMS, Workload as part of vendor selection process for high critical PO’s.
• Monitors Supplier’s operations involved in producing the materials/equipment specified in the Purchase Order, including production planning, order entry, engineering, materials acquisitions, manufacture, assembly.
• Evaluates manufacturing progress at the Suppliers' plant through visual observations.
• Reviews sub-orders and expedites engineering and data submittals.
• Analyses Supplier’s schedules and progress reports to determine if they support the project required delivery dates.
• Identifies problem areas and initiates or recommends corrective action to the Supplier’s representative

• Verifying with vendor on receipt of Purchase order and confirming that the PO has been inserted in the Supplier’s planning for production;
• Carrying-out the actions listed in the PO launching checklist (for PO with Expediting level***);
• Coordinating and expediting all CONTRACTOR internal disciplines involved in the execution of the Purchase Order (Engineering disciplines, Inspection, Shipping, Purchasing….);
• Anticipating problem areas before delays / trouble occur, rather than reporting the problems;
• Exerting continuous control and pressure on Supplier in order to maintain the contractual schedule;
• Performing general coordination of deviation requests and change order requests (that are respectively under responsibility of Engineering and Purchasing), and keeping an updated status change order requests;
