Associate Vice President responsible for Information Security & Network Infrastructure.Completed the PDO (Partners, Directors, Officers) exam in December 2022 to officially be permitted to use the AVP title awarded in January 2022.

Responsible for implementation, configuration, administration, integration, and maintenance of information security related solutions.

Responsibilities• Served as corporate security's single point of contact for 2 years in an enterprise level environment• Develop, document and implement data security procedures that enforce information security standards eg. ISO 27002, ITIL, PCI• Act as a technical resource and educator for security-related best practices, liaising with the IT project teams in order to establish security compliant designs for applications and acquired security components• Advocate corporate information security policy and procedure to internal and external clients, customers, users and staff• Maintain and improve corporate security posture of Unix/Windows and Network enterprise environment by working closely with Systems Administration team• Perform regular external and internal security audits/penetration testing, find flaws and follow up to have them fixed• Conduct internal investigations and security incident responses• Troubleshoot and resolve security integration problems within the organization• Manage access controls eg. Corporate VPN Access• Monitors security logs for intrusion detection• Keep up to date with current security exploits to ensure the company is protected from the latest known exploits• Perform threat risk assessments (TRA) and generate reports for the business• Work closely with the business and stakeholders to ensure Corporate Security objectives are aligned properly with the business’ strategic objectives

Responsibilities• Cross train to transfer into Corporate Security Analyst role• Perform security hardening/auditing to Linux servers and services• Manage Email SPAM Firewall / Linux access control / user provisioning• Manage Linux mission critical servers with high load databases and application servers• Installing(Kickstart), monitoring, and performance tuning of Unix(RedHat Enterprise 4/5, CentOS)• Maintain and troubleshoot server hardware including HP Blades, Dell, Sun and IBM• Installing, configuring and administrating VMware ESX connected to SAN and NetApp• Providing internal customer support to users (Setting up new accounts, changing permissions, and updating the DNS)• Manage large scale Email, DNS, and VMware infrastructure• Install and configure DNS, Samba/NFS, sendmail/exim, logging solutions and FTP, SSH, SCP, Apache, MySQL, PHP)• BASH scripting to automate tasks• Perform security hardening/auditing to Linux servers and services• Manage Email SPAM Firewall• Manage Linux access control / user provisioning

Responsibilities• Install/upgrade Linux applications such as Confluence Bamboo/Sitescope/CYGWIN• Maintain BigIP load balanced environment• Configure/troubleshoot internal apps such as Jira, Wiki, Sitescope, Cacti• Configure/troubleshoot in-house Linux/Windows apps as well as 3rd party apps• Restore application data from backups/snapshots• Maintenance of log files archiving, deleting• Administer systems using VMWare/ ILO/DSVIEW• Set up/troubleshoot Linux accounts for CVS/SVN• Set up SSH authorized keys, SNMPD for monitors and automated scripts• Set up/configure NTPD, MYSQLD, CROND, HTTPD, JBOSS• Modify/troubleshoot custom PHP, Java code for internal apps such as WIKI/JIRA to upgrade functionality of custom tool• Create Bash Scripts to:-monitor and graph system/apps/DB/network for performance, health and availability-automate service maintenance(start/stop services) through multiple servers in the Webfarm-scan/read log files through load balanced multiple servers (awk/sed)
