Interned as part of the Metadata team in the Item Offer Pipeline. Primarily focused on designing and developing browser-based tools to manage metadata, and working on exception handling in the next generation metadata system. As part of a team of 5 engineers, gained teamwork experience and learned tools for managing, building, and deploying large-scale development.

Taught as a Spring 2009 Teaching Assistant for 15-212 Principles of Programming (functional programming in Standard ML). Instructed weekly recitations and created and graded student assignments. The course focuses on high level programming techniques and encourages students to reason about programs. Covered topics included continuations, tail recursion, functors, computability, and mutability.

Designed, developed, and implemented a custom content management system (CMS). CMS tracked people, research projects, robots, and media. Each person can edit their personal information, with rights for other content limited. Core CMS written in PHP, with data stored in XML files (SQL was not available). Login's are secured through SSL. Additionally, developed the frontend webpage using XHTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Co-founded the WallpaperCuts company emphasizing enterprise motivation. Developed and deployed a commercial application in Visual Basic with database development and management in MS-SQL. Designed, tested, and deployed webpage in HTML, Javascript, and VBScript. Designed and executed product marketing strategy.
