A graduate student at McGill University pursuing a PhD in Chemistry in the lab of Dr. Hanadi Sleiman. My research started under Dr. Ryan Wylie at McMaster University, working on treatment of macular degeneration using antibody-loaded slow-release hydrogels. My graduate work moved to testing the biomedical applications of nucleic acid therapeutics, specifically by designing and testing DNA-based conjugates and nanoassemblies as delivery vectors, with the ultimate aim of moving to clinical trials. Outside of research, I am very involved in outreach and mentorship making science more inclusive. I am also involved in scientific communication and bridging science with policy and management
