I am a medical doctor with a background in public health and business analytics. My nearly 20 years of experience in clinical evaluation and product innovation strategy for medical products focus on improving healthcare access and clinical outcomes, particularly in low-resource settings. At Global Health Labs, Inc., I support product strategy, oversee clinical evaluations of product prototypes, and manage clinical research academic and non-academic partnerships in Africa and Asia. Throughout my career, I have led cross-functional teams to inform the development and introduction of innovative medical devices that address unmet needs, advancing global health equity through strategic innovation and evidence-based solutions. My focus on culturally competent approaches that respect and value diversity in healthcare has been essential to my success. I have fostered collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, including innovators, Ministries of Health, academia, the private sector and industry, healthcare professionals, patients, and communities, implementing partners, development partners (e.g., BMGF, Global Fund, UKAID, UNICEF, and USAID), to drive meaningful healthcare impact in LMICs such as Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Sudan, Uganda, and Vietnam.
