I enjoy working as a software engineer with focus on highly available critical cloud applications. Several years ago (it seems like yesterday), I joined Motorola to tune a Java server application, which had slow response. I tuned database queries for every page/services to become 5-10x more responsive and saved the dying application. This experience triggered my interest in backend server development. As life goes on, I worked on several other exciting applications to support very low bandwidth mobile devices.The next good thing that happened in my career is inception of cloud computing. Cloud provided the perfect opportunity for me to excel in server development and data analytics. It has been an amazing experience working on AWS to develop server/serverless applications using Java, NodeJs, RDS and NoSQL technologies.
