This centre is a part of the University of New South Wales' School of Chemical Engineering. Carried out chemical analysis for industry and research partners. Work involved polymer property elucidation and suggestions/ troubleshooting in synthesis methods, as well as training of temporary personnel on the proper use of analytical instruments.

Freelance consultant for Orica in partnership with the School of Civil Engineering at UNSW. Project involved the design and implementation of a pilot scale zero valent iron nanoparticle production facility. Reports submitted to Orica highlighted the continuous production method as well as recommendation for scale up to a mobile production facility.

Work as an intern at Chemitreat Pte Ltd. Job involved documentation as well as commissioning of water treatment plants. A highlight project involved the troubleshooting and commissioning of a cyanide destruction facility independently.

Carried out mandatory national service carried out in 2 batches. First of 26 months between April '01 to June '03, and the final 4 months between Nov '06 to Feb '07. Received initial infantry basic training and then specialised in the vocation of combat medic and dental assistant. Trained in CPR, AED, resuscitation, dispensing and non-GA surgeries. Trained to assist in general dentistry as well as both oral and endodontic surgeons.
