Looking back, my 24 years in technology has been a rewarding career. Starting as a Tech Support to becoming a Technology Leader at TransUnion CIBIL, I have had the privilege to perform several roles with opportunities to travel ~19 different nations on various work assignments. Presently I work as Director and Head of Enterprise Technology at TransUnion CIBIL. Here, I have successfully led Digital Transformation programs facilitating organization’s scalability, growth and seamless adoption of emerging technologies. I play pivotal role in driving strategic and management initiatives that add value to our IT systems and services.I had joined Transunion (Mumbai) in Oct 2012 as AVP for managing project delivery of Decisioning technology that provide credit underwriting to Banks and NBFC’s. My role was expanded to Customer Engagement, IT Support, and Tech Innovation. I grew my team from 17 to 60+ for end-to-end delivery.I moved into Credit bureau as Head of D2C Technology in Jul 2017. I lead my first digital transformation project that helped D2C scale the business to multi-million dollars. This opportunity gave me a comprehensive exposure to consumer credit data. I had great experience in building systems that provide superior consumer services from delivering credit report to dispute management. In 2019 I became Technology Head of Core bureau platforms. Under the broader umbrella of “Bureau Systems Evolution”, I led two major transformation initiatives – API Marketplace and Refactor legacy bureau platform. This marquee program is very special as it puts several feathers on my cap and gives me a personal pride for the value it created. From joining TransUnion to present date, I have led multiple tech transformations with successful implementation. I have the visibility and recognition of Leadership at CM1 level. Previous Experience (Jul 2000 - Oct 2012):Before TransUnion, I had an impressive track record of 12+ years in leading Stock Market Product solutions. I started with “SDG Software Technologies”, which was acquired by 3i Infotech in 2005. My first role was application support, however, I learned software programming and relational databases, and equipped myself with architecture and design principles for developing cutting-edge technology solutions. My progress was fast-paced with right mentors. As I exited 3i Infotech, my responsibilities were Global Delivery, Product Roadmap and Pre-sales for market surveillance, fraud detection and trading apps that catered to India, EU and MEA. I was a certified PMP at this time.
