Heading a team of 4 IP experts providing IP management related services and consultation utilising Greip (www.greip.com) IP Management software solution. The services include advising customers in forming, implementing and following IP strategies and processes, conducting portfolio analysis, IP trainings, IP professional secondments, and Greip implementation projects among other services. Part of company management team.

Same responsibilities as in my previous role, but now putting more focus on developing business models for expanding Berggren's Greip® and IP Business areas' operations outside Finland, building and managing partnerships and new Greip® product offerings.Accomplishments:- Contributed to Greip® winning IPR Innovation award of 2017- Quintupled customer base for Greip®, sold, negotiated, and closed deals, which have grown turnover of the company into seven fold numbers- Closed first sales deals outside Finland (Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Netherlands) and took care of the implementation projects successfully. - Participated in conceptualizing a new scalable product offering for a new customer segment, introduced it to several IPR agencies abroad and initiated a successful pilot with one big German IPR agency around the concept, which led to a fruitful partnership. - Started co-operation negotiations with some potential partners outside Finland (IPR search tool providers and annuity operators) of which one has now led to a partnership.

Responsibilities:-Sales and implementation projects of intellectual asset management service, Greip™, in Finland and abroad - Specialist tasks in the IP Business services: IP strategies, IP portfolio intelligence, IP risk management, commercialization of patents, IP valuationsAccomplishments:- Tripled customer base for Greip™- Managed ~10 major RFQ processes from tendering to agreement negotiations successfully- Managed ~20 Greip™ implementation projects with excellent customer feedback- Demonstrated Greip™ and given public speeches about IP and innovation management with very good ratings in over 10 international and domestic IP events- Contributed to Berggren’s Greip™ and IP business area’s business plans and started first negotiations with potential partners in Finland and abroad- Contributed to Berggren Group wide strategy and managed successfully one of the strategy programs, where one of the outcomes has been conceptualizing Berggren’s service offerings into more client business-oriented direction- Established 2 Berggren’s annual client forums that have had very good attendance and excellent ratings. At the same time the electronic letter volumes have grown from 9 million in 2011 to 12 million in 2012. According to a study conducted by Taloustutkimus in 2012, Netposti's appreciation has grown among 150 Finnish Internet brands: Netposti came 33rd (43rd in 2011) in Internet brands' general appreciation and 12th (24th in 2011) in users' appreciation. Popularity of the service has grown from 31 % in 2011 to 39 % in 2012 according to the same study. I believe the success is due to efficient and wise marketing, PR and sales acts, and customer-oriented product development decisions that I have also given my input to.

Responsibilities:- Innovation management- IP management - Project management Accomplishments:- Idea identification, business case evaluation and service conceptualization for tens of Itella’s ideas- Managing and developing a patent portfolio of ~100 patents related to ICT and mechanics - Conducting a competitor patent porfolio analysis- Creating IPR strategy that supports the business strategy of Itella and establishing and rolling out company-wide IPR processes that implemented the IPR strategy - Patentability analysis of tens of employee inventions - IP due diligence in a corporate acquisition- Managing a project, the outcome of which, Posti mobile application, got five stars in Tietokone magazine review, outstanding reviews from the customers and was listed in Helsingin Sanomat top 50 mobile applications list. The project also got honorary mention in Itella’s Innomoves innovation contest.

Responsibilities:- Building up and maintaining IP and open source processes- Supporting sales and deliveries in IP and open source issues- Increasing the awareness of IP and open source in the organization- Co-operating with customers and internally on IP and open source issuesAccomplishments:- Established and rolled-out IPR and open source processes for Tieto’s mobile deliveries globally - Conducting freedom-to-operate studies to tens of Tieto's deliveries - Building IP and open source training material - Giving IP and open source trainings around the world at all Tieto's locations (China, India, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Sweden and Finland) training thus hundreds of Tieto employees

Responsibilities:- Managing and developing Nokia’s service technologies related patent portfolio (~1000 patent families related to e.g. messaging, web services, service provisioning, browsing, device management, SIP based services, etc.) - Identifying business use for the patent portfolio- Supporting IP acquisition and standardization functions- Preparing non-infringement and invalidity defense against competitors' assertions- Patent prosecution work (160 patent families i.e. ~400 patent applications). Accomplishments:- Mapping Nokia's patent portfolio against competitor products and standardisation specifications (claim charting)- Evaluating Nokia's patent portfolio and forming packages to be sold and licensed- Making IP declarations to IETF and participating in the IETF IPR working group and meetings- Taking part of preparation work against IPCom's assertion

The service was piloted in Jyväskylä Neste Rally in summer 2004.- Finishing Master's thesis on Third Party Service Provisioning in SIP based UMTS network with excellent grades (5/5)
