Major Job Responsibilities• Responsible for Managing the Business Center IT operations.• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs• Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software• Providing expert advice and support when systems are being upgraded or… Show more Major Job Responsibilities• Responsible for Managing the Business Center IT operations.• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs• Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software• Providing expert advice and support when systems are being upgraded or installed, or when there are conversions or file maintenance.• Liaising regularly with executive and senior management as well as systems users.• Managing IT staff, with responsibility for hiring, evaluation, training, guidance, disciplinary procedures and dismissals.• Developing standard operating procedures allied to best practice, and ensuring written protocols and guidelines are provided for it staff and all end-users.• Ensuring written documentation is created and maintained, to include user and system manuals, license agreements and all documentation relating to modifications and upgrades.• Keeping up-to-date with the most recent technologies and advising on what new technological solutions and their implementation will meet business and systems requirements.• Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management• Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts• Managing and support of organizational IT systems.
