I worked for News UK as part of Wireless Group. I developed multi channel advertising campaigns with GroupM agencies Mindshare and m/SIX across their planning, partnership and investment teams. I delivered a number of partnerships across our brands talkSPORT, talkSPORT 2, talkRADIO and Virgin Radio. My role comprised of three areas of specialisation: partnerships, broadcast and digital media.

I led a team of Media Executives on the ‘Independent and Specialists’ patch in order to supply media planning and support across airtime, digital audio and video pre roll. I worked with the Media Managers & Group Media Manager to help secure revenue from agencies: Publicis (P&G), the7stars, Hearts and Science and John Ayling Associates. Aside from this, I worked closely with the Head of Planning to develop our planning systems and ensure best practice planning is applied across the company. I had proven success in media planning, delivering revenue and managing accounts with MNC and Bartlett Davis. I gained experience at using insight and market research data to influence and develop briefs, ensuring Global was at the forefront of our clients and agencies plans.I was also very active in the events side of our business, helping to organise and run numerous live music events throughout the year. I was personally responsible for co-ordinating the artist and artists management in the build up to the event and acting as the artist liaison on the night. Some of the artists I’ve worked with are: The Kooks, Anne-Marie, The Courteeners and Kevin Lyttle.
