Responsible for the strategy, design, implementation and support of IT systems that enable industry solutions to drive value for Glazer's Beer and Beverage through growth and operational effectiveness. Maintain a balanced IT budget across the entire corporation while optimizing operational expense through technology investment.

I started in this role as a part of a large divestiture and merger with another alcohol distributor.This amazing opportunity allowed me to build the IT team and environment from ground zero. This included all aspects of IT such as our infrastructure, service desk, end point protection, asset management, mobile device management, monitoring platform and others.During my tenure, we built out the complete end to end infrastructure for the entire enterprise. This included all aspects of AD, backup and recovery, ISP circuit turn-up, routers, firewalls, switches and access points. The overall spend for licensing and maintenance was also reduced significantly and was a focal point in the selection of each new technology. We also went through vendor selection for ISP's, procurement, networking and server hardware, cloud hosting providers and hardware maintenance providers.We support a user base of 1200+ users in 14 locations. I stay focused on investing in the best technologies for our company while still maintaining and overseeing a balanced budget for the entire enterprise within the technology arena.

In this role, I managed a large team of developers that customize and support the SAP platform. I also manage teams developing within the SharePoint platform as well as custom .NET and Java development threads.

I was responsible for all web related development efforts at Glazers including custom Java development and SharePoint sites. This included providing architect-ed solutions based on user requirements.

Responded to customer requirements to build custom software solutions. Designed web based software for various industries and clients.

I worked on the web development team that designs, creates and implements all web based solutions for the company. This includes custom applications to fulfill business requirements. All of our web apps are done with Java and the Spring 2.0+ framework.

During my tenure with Mckesson, I worked for the EDI team. We oversaw over 20 billion dollars worth of yearly transactions through our systems utilizing tools and software packages such as Cyclone and Gentran Integration Suite. We also developed custom web applications for the business team in JSP. Some of my skills there included but were not limited to Perl, Java, JSP and shell scripting.

While I was at Vartec Telecom, I worked within the Data Operations department. I wrote various Korn Shell and Perl scripts to support our custom EDI platform. I also wrote many Visual Basic applications to meet departmental needs for monitoring tools.
