As someone who thrives on meeting the challenge of establishing, managing, and assessing processes and procedures to ensure desired end results, I am eager for an opportunity to utilize my experiences as well as foster new experiences. As a Lead Writer for O’Neil & Associates, Inc., I was responsible for development of and ensuring accuracy and consistency of all tasks and manuals being delivered to clients. I was tasked with establishing team policies, style guides, and content management structure to ensure all tasks were accurately developed in a consistent style and language as-well-as proper routing and storing of content. As a Project Manager for O’Neil & Associates, Inc., I managed many complex projects, sometimes multiple projects at simultaneously, requiring work to be performed in stages. This required proficiency in multi-tasking, extensive coordination and superior communication skills. Keeping all teams in cohesion while ensuring the required aspects of the project were incorporated at the right time ultimately enhanced the client’s experience. I earned a reputation for being stress tolerant, remaining calm while under pressure, therefore influencing the team and generated an atmosphere where critical thinking and problem-solving skills could be maximized. My experience working with geographically dispersed, cross functional teams has taught me the importance of building a cohesive and trusting team while continually improving working relationships between management, teams, vendors and clients. I bring experience in development of comprehensive project plans, procedural and instructional content, establishment and management of processes and procedures, implementation of performance metrics with communication of progress to all stakeholders. Clear and concise communication of expectations, positive influence, and leadership will provide an encouraging productive atmosphere in which teams may thrive throughout all aspects of projects. These qualities are reinforced by my commitment to the success of the team, profitability, and positive client experiences. I believe my passion and experience as a Technical Writer and Project Manager will provide added value to the company and clients’ current and future needs.
