Site Manager Persimmon Homes (Central) A development of 215 units comprising of 7 blocks of 10 apartments and 140 houses with the value of around £54 million. In this role my responsibilities include:- • Manage and co-ordinate subcontractors as well as plant in accordance with build programme requirements. • Schedule and call off materials for all aspects of the project so that they arrive in good time. • Liaise between management, suppliers and contractors including new home buyers. • Perform site inductions, toolbox talks, HSQE checks and record the daily and weekly paperwork in accordance with company policy. • Liaise with utility providers for connections on to site and new plot connections. • Carry out quality checks at all build stages and organise any remedial works required by contractors so that the end product is of a high standard. • Responsible for the customer care on the site, looking after new buyers and any snagging issues they may have once they moved in. • Perform new home demos with buyers as well as compile and coordinate new home packs with key release. • Lease with the site sales team so that the houses are built to meet individual buyers specifications. • Manage site activities ensuring compliance with health and safety. • Carry out scaffold and crash deck checks. Report and record. • Ensure overall site conditions are kept at a high standard and maintained. • Chair site meetings with management and contractors.

A traditionally built eleven unit site for Wolverhampton City Homes, consisting of three houses and eight apartments on a tight inner city site to the value of £1.2 Million. A challenging build site on contaminated ground, with Japanese Knotweed and near a live water course running across the rear of the site. It required mini piles with reinforced ring foundations. All service connections were made from a busy main road at the front of the site which required four way traffic management and careful co-ordination between service providers. Being housing association I worked closely with a Clerk of Works to ensure their specification and quality requirements were achieved.
