Joseph Alexander Vanderhoff is a dedicated clinical therapist with a passion for existential-humanism, psychodynamics, group therapy, neuropsychology, and ecopsychology. Joseph Alexander Vanderhoff is a member of the American Psychological Association and affiliated with divisions dedicated to theoretical and philosophical psychology, existential-humanism, psychoanalysis, clinical neuropsychology, and group psychotherapy–Divisions 24, 32, 39, 40, and 49. He recently coauthored a chapter for a book being published by the APA called The Evidence-Based Foundations of Existential-Humanistic Psychotherapy. He has a passion for writing and is currently working on several other publications. Vanderhoff has a lifelong passion for the creative arts and nature. He has been writing, recording, performing, and teaching music for over two decades. Finding solace in the wilderness since his youth, he is an active nature enthusiast who can regularly be found hiking and camping in the Rocky Mountains. He currently leads weekly group therapy sessions with Fishing the Good Fight, an organization promoting men’s mental health awareness and care by facilitating overnight wilderness retreats.
