Radio Producer for Capital XTRA. This job involves attention to detail, motivation and creative thinking.Roles and responsibilities:- to oversea the running of radio shows- to organize music choices, guests, callers for talk radio or competitions, timings, and overall show content- facilitate the operations of an OB (outside broadcast) from the studio- putting together recorded interviews to be played out live on-air- to think of original ideas, and to think creatively about how to communicate them on radio- to work effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines when needed- to guide presenters and give positive and negative feedback in the moment- to make the most of audience-generated content, such as sound bites- to ensure the show is running on time - to arrange guests to feature on the show - to be technical operator for particular shows, operating the technical controls (sound volume levels, recording software, switchboard, etc.) for the presenter.

The Southport Weekender is a fantastic music event held every year.Roles and responsibilities: - Monitor artist arrival times, liaising with ground transportation and the tech team where necessary;- Meet artists on arrival to site, deal with accreditation and accommodation, confirm hospitality requirementsand call times;- Ensure dressing rooms and backstage areas are setup accordingly and that rider requirements are met anddelivered in the venue;- Liaise with artists to ensure presence at venue for set-up / soundcheck and show call times;- Meet artists at venue, show to dressing room, hand over rider;- Confirm details of technical set-up and logistics of changeovers to / from their set, introduce to tech teamwhere necessary;- Liaise with sound / lighting / video crew regarding technical set-up and requirements;- Liaise with artists in the venue to resolve any issues;- Liaise with Event Managers to resolve issues that may be caused by late arrival of artists;- Liaise with artists post-performance to confirm resort departure arrangements and timings;- Monitor access to backstage and on-stage areas, liaising with security where necessary to control;- Monitor audience safety, and liaise with security and Event Manager where concerns exist;- Execute show-stop procedure in case of emergency.
