Vdot Web is a multi-tier configuration of the Vdot Workbench infrastructure (below). It provides a scalable web presence that works in concert with the existing client-server architecture of the Vdot Workbench. • Provide architectural vision to transform existing client-server infrastructure into a multi-tier web platform.• Implemented Cross Company Process Definition/Activation/Execution/Management (Partner Tasks). • Implemented web security aspects for Vdot Web, including client side Javascript password encryption. • Implemented and Integrated Call Forward Infrastructure (CFI) into the Struts Framework. The CFI is designed to forward user calls from the Web Server (Web Tier) to the Execution Server (Execution Tier).• Implemented Call Span Infrastructure to track work, associated with a specific Call, across multiple threads. • Implemented cross browser AJAX status updating infrastructure that asynchronously updates web pages when the Execution Server completes processing requests.
