Also responsiblefor quality control and plant maintenance.Worked on units:• Storage and Settling Unit: Settling of rawmaterial to remove impurities, Loading andoff-loading of Bio-diesel and raw materialsand by-products such as Chicken Acid Oil,Methanol, Sulfuric Acid, glycerin and tar.• Pre-Esterification Unit: Reaction of chickenacid oil with methanol with sulfuric acid ascatalyst with the reaction time of 3 hours toproduce ester (RCOOR').• Trans-Esterification Unit: Reaction of Esterwith alkali solution (NAOH+Methanol) withthe ratio of 1 :5 in the tubular reactors toproduce transition state ester with acid valueranging from (0.15-0.25).• Distillation Unit: Vacuum Distillation of thetrans-ester in packed column bed to produceLDO (Light Diesel Oil) from top and HDO • Distilation unit: Vacuum Distil ationo t etrans-ester in packed column bed to produceLDO (Light Diesel Oil) from top and HDO(Heavy Diesel Oil) from middle and tar fromthe bottom with the acid value from (0.2-0.5).• Methanol Recovery Unit: Methanol isrecovered at the packed bed column.
