Part of the constant communication was also included active listening for potential problems and ensured understanding. To make myself an effective communicator I made sure that I changed my tone with each employee to increase morale. I made sure that we were adhering to all the rules and regulations that were stated. I made sure that were operating under those regulations as well. Safety was a top priority in which we followed. We were able to have no incidents because of the strict safety measures we adhered too. One of my responsibilities was to increase customer count for the month. I did so through pushing a referral program and calling on old accounts. Each day I would write up an operating report to see how we were preforming for the month and year. The report would generate a goal that was set by the district manager to accomplish. I was able to adapt to other new organizations around by offering excellent customer service and always meeting the needs of the customers. A customer performance measure was through surveys which in my time there was very high. Having excellent customer service helped to increase repeated business and increased count through word of mouth.

    I was the assistant director for the YMCA program. As an assistant director I was in charge of daily operations of the facility that I was operating at. I had four facilities in which I had employees operating at. I had to make sure that proper scheduling took place especially when employees called in. I had to come up with proper agendas that staff and customers would be able to follow in my absence. I had to make sure that the facility was running at full capacity or close to full capacity. I conducted onsite training with multiple employees and new recruits on licensing standers and safety measures. Training included the staff be well versed in the state licensing practices that everyone had to follow as well as superior customer service . After they become trained probably they were given small tasks until they could effectively operate all the day to day tasks. Part of my duties included reporting to the supervisor and customers daily with open communication about results. When a problem would arise I had to make sure to create the proper documentation and report it. Part of the training was to make sure that a situation was not caused by poor training and that it was some external force that could not be controlled.

I made sure to always push those products in a way that would benefit the customers.

I had to make sure that all paperwork was properly filed corrected when a Licensing representative came for an inspection. If the rep found something that needed to be changed I had to train staff and ensure that the problem be fixed by two weeks. I also had to make sure that customers were always satisfied. When a problem would arise I would have to use effective timely follow-up techniques to ensure customer satisfaction. Part of my duties included operating under a strict budget. I had to make sure that the inventory wasn’t being wasted and incorporate the needs to fit into the budget.
