I am a physician-scientist dedicated to advancing groundbreaking treatments for immunological disorders, with a penchant for forging connections where none existed before. I am also more than just a physician-scientist. Before the age of 15, I lost my only brother, became a refugee and an immigrant twice over, experienced poverty, discrimination and xenophobia. My training has intertwined engineering, science, and medicine, guiding me to tackling complex problems that bridge disparate fields, but always shaped by my life experience.
