Every day, I have the privilege of merging my passion for marketing with a cause I deeply believe in as a Marketing Coordinator at Feeding America. I am proud to contribute my skills to the mission of ending hunger in America alongside an amazing digital marketing team! I graduated in May 2023 and hold a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. During my time in college, the most valuable lesson I learned was the importance of never forgetting where I come from, and always knowing where I am going.Being a first-generation college student was my main motivation to earn a degree. This drove me to take volunteer, internship, and work opportunities in a wide range of areas. While in Richmond, I interned with Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity and gained experience with digital marketing. After finishing my freshman year, I volunteered at a nonprofit organization in Chicago and got the wonderful opportunity to focus on redesigning their website. My journey also encompassed a role as the Marketing & Program Intern for the Chicago Foundation for Education.A unique role I embraced was working as a Campus Manager for a custom apparel company, essentially running my own business on campus. But, my favorite opportunity was studying abroad. I studied abroad in Perugia, Italy and in Milan, Italy for two separate semesters.I am very grateful for the guidance and mentorship given by my supervisors and mentors, since they have been instrumental in helping me get to where I am and helping me improve each and every day.Feel free to reach out to me if you want to talk about marketing, share travel stories, or simply need a bit of emotional support!
