I founded Pathotrak in 2014, to commercialize a technology that reduces the time it takes to detect food-borne pathogens from days to hours. The technology behind Pathotrak stems from my work in microfluidics at NIST, which received a prestigious Best Invention of the Year in Life Sciences award at the University of Maryland in 2015. This technology reduces costs for testing and logistics. At Pathotrak, we are pioneering rapid food pathogen detection that boosts the speed of traditional testing methods. As an entrepreneur and scientist, I thrive on collaborative problem-solving and working with bright minds to generate innovative ideas and solutions. I find joy in bringing products to market that have the potential to impact lives.
