As a Range Safety Officer at The Modern Sportsman, I ensure the safety and security of the shooting range, the customers, and the staff. I have been working in this role since September 2023, and I enjoy applying my firearms handling, emergency management, and security operations skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.Prior to joining The Modern Sportsman, I gained valuable experience as a Protection Specialist at Fairline Services and an Armed Protection Agent at JomsVikings Protection Agency, where I provided close personal protection, asset security, and law and policy enforcement for various clients and industries. I also completed an Executive Protection Specialist certification from Bravo Research Group in November 2022, which enhanced my knowledge and skills in threat assessment, risk management, and defensive driving.In addition to my security and protection expertise, I am also a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), which I obtained from Allied Medical Training in March 2017. This certification enables me to provide first aid and emergency care in case of any injuries or accidents at the shooting range or during protection assignments. I am also pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections at Century College, which I expect to complete in December 2024.I am a highly motivated, hardworking, and team-oriented security professional, who is passionate about protecting life and property and ensuring accountability in performing security operations. I am based in the Houston, TX area, but I am willing to travel to work, as I am looking to get into Executive Protection full time. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges in the security and protection industry.
