My background includes the work of chemical engineer research. Most recently, I worked on the European Project NOO2 ¨ Development of an efficient oxygen elimination technology for reducing oxygen content in landfill gas for fuel quality¨, where my responsibilities included construction, design, start-up, and operation of biological reactors for biogas biodesulfurization. Also, I have previous experience done experimental works using membrane separation technologies applied to food industries.My Ph.D. thesis was about the implementation of control strategies in biotrickling filters for anoxic biological desulfurization of biogas using nitrate and nitrite as the electron acceptor.I also bring to the table strong computer proficiencies in MS Word, MS Excel, and Access database applications. Moreover, I have worked with analytical chemistry techniques such as GC, HPLC, LabVIEW programming and analogic and digital I/O for different instruments and sensors for control systems applied to biotrickling filters.I have a proved ability to work safely in laboratory and pilot plant environment, with a strong background in chemistry and engineering fundamentals and I able to apply fundamental engineering concepts to develop robust technical solutions. Moreover, I can apply Statistical techniques to process development and process improvement.
