As the head of the Tax Department of an international company, I am in charge of the Corporate Income Tax, VAT, special taxes and the social corporate structure of the group.In addition to attending the tax inquiries of our subsidiaries (and branches) and the requirements of the Tax Authorities, I appeal to the Courts tax issues, as well as reviewing the contracts and deeds to avoid tax risks.I also collaborate closely with other departments and I manage tax audits and controversy; liaison with country tax inspectors while also working closing with local and international finance.I support the M&A and Business Tax Planning on tax due diligence for international acquisitions and divestitures, as well as strategic alliances.
