I am a Global Study Associate at the Barcelona Global Hub of AstraZeneca, a cutting-edge pharmaceutical and biotechnology company. As part of the Study Operations Team of the Early Oncology department, I collaborate in Phase I/II studies studying potential novel cancer therapies.My experience in clinical research started as CRA at SOLTI, an academic group promoting innovative translational clinical trials in oncology, specially in breast cancer.Regarding my academic record, I am a postgraduate student deeply interested in the biomedical sciences and the development of novel therapies, knowledge that I have acquired throughout my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and my Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology. During the accomplished internships as a junior researcher in biochemistry, biotechnology and preclinical studies, I have strengthened my abilities to work and cooperate with other people, organize and take responsibility of my tasks, as well as find mature solutions on my own. Due to my fascination with clinical trials and pharmaceutical industry, from 2022 to 2023 I carried out a Master’s degree in Clinical Trials Monitoring and Medical Affairs. This was a training that surely started to define my current career.Furthermore, I believe that my extensive knowledge in the biopharmacology field and my interest in cancer research have an enormous value in the clinical research area, due to the arising importance of biological medical products into this sector.Moreover, language learning is other of my passions. Thereby, I possess a proficient knowledge of English (C1 level), language that I have been learning during my whole academic life and I could put into practice in a professional environment during my internship abroad, becoming a fluent speaker and writer. Besides, I am an independent user of Catalan, French and Portuguese (B1 level).
