I'm Javier, a Singapore Polytechnic student with a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I'm looking forward to starting a career as an Integration & Yield Engineer since I'm interested in the semiconductor industry, namely developing, testing, and installing semiconductors. Working hands-on with various machinery to produce a plethora of products.During my stay at Singapore Polytechnic, I am involved in the SP-NUS Collaboration Programme, exhibiting my commitment to education, adaptability to different learning environments, and enthusiasm to acquire new skills and knowledge. While honing hard skills like wafer fabrication, coding, and physics to better prepare me for a career in the semiconductor sector. Having received several Edusave Scholarships from the Ministry of Education during my years at Zhenghua Secondary School, I continuously strive to be an all-rounder. I demonstrate teamwork or self-discipline as a member of the volleyball team. Guiding youngsters and preparing myself for any competition.Working in diverse fields while studying allows me to gain communication skills when negotiating with different clients in different languages, collaboration skills when planning and distributing duties, and critical thinking skills when making critical and accurate judgments in the heat of the moment when confronted with adversity. Demonstrating my ability to balance work and study.I am optimistic in completing my diploma and specialised in microelectronics at Singapore Polytechnic. I am confident in my ability to be an undergraduate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering at NUS. While searching for internships in my field of study. I aim to be able to collaborate with experienced wafer engineers in order to benefit from their expertise and reach new heights in the semiconductor industry.
