- Scientific consultancy to characterize the seabirds, marine turtles and marine mammals’ assemblages in the South-west Atlantic using transects and points methods. - Scientific consultancy to set up a marine characterization of the biodiversity of large vertebrates (marine and coastal birds, marine mammals, and marine turtles) in a coastal region of Uruguay where is projected the construction of a deep water port. Tasks included literature review, consulting to specialists, and fieldwork using transects and points methods at-sea. - As a Research Technician my work consisted in setting and gathering data of an experimental tori-line, quantification and monitoring seabirds and their interactions with the fishing gear, measure, sex and collect biological samples of fishes (tunas, sharks and swordfish), set and download data from mini loggers (temperature and salinity), among others. - As a Scientific Observer my work consisted in collect information of the retained and discarded capture by the commercial fisheries in Uruguay. Some particular tasks involve quantification of interactions of seabirds with the fishing gear.
