As the Cruise Director I am the responsible of organizing the on board entertainment and social life. I cooperates with the Hotel Manager in order to meet and exceed the company revenue objectives on promoting all activities to generate revenue and Guest satisfaction. I am the Master of Ceremonies, “the voice and image” of the ship; responsible of communication services. He manages large teams up to 150 multilingual and multicultural people from all over the world.Duties Using hotel resources to maximize guests’ satisfaction & optimize revenues. Analysing statistical information and drawing conclusions from it. Developing and implementing staff training programs. Ensuring the quality of delivery of the entertainment productContinuously developing the entertainment-hotel brand standard procedures. Providing the land office corporates with regular reports on the hotel operating objectives and entertainment performance. Coordinating all the on board revenue areas to ensure profitability. Conduct disciplinary actions against staff, including contract terminations. Executing the “Master of Service” program in order to obtain the total Guest satisfaction

Internal Consulency of the Entertainment product offered in all Ibero Cruceros vessels: shows, entertainment guests activities, music and Cruise Directors performances.

Management and supervision of the entertainment staff : entertainers, artists, musicians, social hosts. Organize the daily program: night and daily activities including the evening shows and the schedule of the musicians. Presentation of the shows in the theatre, presentation of Captain’s activities and cocktails, private talks: eg. excursions talks, life on board.Interaction with guests: socializing, listening and helping. Being able to communicate in different languages as necessary, making announcements in main languages on all subjects. Training the entertainment staff with the smile package. Collaboration with all departments on revenue activities in order to reach the goal. Over all working with all head departments on organization to oversee a happy environment on cruise ships.
