(District Police) Administrator -Enterprise Security Systems
CurrentParticipates in the design and specification of the district's various public security electronic devices, systems, and technological platforms.Manage and/or coordinates the installation of public security electronic devices, systems, and technologies.Performs routine preventative maintenance on public Security electronic devices, Software, systems, and technologies.Routinely reviews work orders to ensure the prompt and timely completion of all maintenance requests.Coordinates with contracted service providers on projects and perform inspections of contractor work ensuring alignment with district performance standards.Stakeholder and Participates in facility construction projects and major renovations working with department managers to ensure that project punch lists are completed, deficiencies are promptly resolved and district standards are maintained.Schedules on-site visits to perform installations and maintenance.Resolves software and hardware problems and ensures that software upgrades and configurations are completed in a systematic and timely manner.Participates in security risk and vulnerability assessments to support the inspection team to review public safety devices, security software systems, and technologies.Provides customers with written operating procedures, conducts training to ensure end-user familiarity and competency, and remains available for online and telephonic support.Maintains accountability for equipment, supply, and tool inventories.Continuously researches and evaluates emerging public safety technology trends; assists in the development of business cases; participates in establishing and maintaining enterprise-wide standards; researches and evaluates public safety products and remains current on technology requirements.
