After being promoted to the position of Senior Design Engineer, I acquired some new responsibilities and developed some new tasks: - Role as a technical lead in a number of projects, assuring that the technical delivery and company standards are met. - Mentoring and coaching graduate engineers, supporting their skill development in the design and analysis areas.- Developing innovative and unique tools for the design of complex Additive Manufacturing components, such as lattice structures and advanced 3D heat exchanger surfaces. - Developing tools and methodologies for the optimization of heat exchangers.

Working in a number of projects, both commercial and R&D, independently and with strict time frames to adhere to. Some of my tasks during this period were:- Design of Additive Manufactured components, mainly for thermal management applications, with an understanding of the manufacturing process and its limitations.- Thermal, flow and structural analysis of different components and systems such as heat exchangers and turbo-machinery, by computational analysis tools such as CFD and FEA.- Research and development of new concepts and heat transfer surfaces.- Optimizing components structurally by using topology optimization and other optimization tools.- Prepare and deliver technical reports, present analysis results and project solutions to technical leads and clients.
