CurrentCurrently, I am part of a dedicated team working on the Promise Engine product to enhance e-commerce operations. This is a Tier-0 product that integrates legacy systems with modern technologies. The application is designed to provide customers with precise delivery promises, either through specified delivery slots or estimated delivery dates. My role involves extensive collaboration with both technology and business teams to ensure system accuracy reflects real-life operations. Key responsibilities and achievements include: •Data Strategy Implementation: Designed and implemented a comprehensive data analysis system to address key questions about the user journey. This involved: • Publishing data through Kafka. • Utilizing Kafka Connect for seamless data integration with GCP. • Migrating data to BigQuery. • Developing dashboards to provide actionable insights and add value (Tableau and data studio). •Backend Development: Responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems using JavaScript/TypeScript and Python. •Database Management: Currently working with OracleSQL and NoSQL databases to ensure robust data handling and storage solutions. •Legacy System Maintenance: Maintained and upgraded legacy systems •Technology Migration: Participated in internal projects to migrate and adopt new technologies, enhancing system efficiency. •Marketplace Initiative Evolution: Contributed to the development and evolution of the Marketplace (MKP) initiative within the Promise Engine architecture. •Multi-Courier Support: Developed features to support multi-courier operations, improving delivery flexibility and reliability.
