Doctor in Astrophysics with a strong interest in Data Science and Science Outreach. I currently work as a Game Data Analyst/Data Scientist at Giant Monkey Robot, a videogame company based in Chile, which is now a Globant division. During my PhD, I studied and detected long-period giant exoplanets, called Jupiter analogs. This project helped me improve my programming skills (Python) by using astronomy data bases, data visualization and statistics. Planets discovered during my thesis were published in 2 papers as first author, and over 20 as coauthor.I worked as Communications and Outreach officer at Las Campanas Observatory between May 2018 and March 2020. The role included managing visitor logistics and tours, develop communication tools for the staff (newsletters, new website), public outreach activities (social media, public talks, press releases, design handouts, etc.) and work in a cross-functional environment by supporting several other areas, such as IT, HR, Room & Board, and more.In parallel, I am a founding member of Star Tres, a trio of female astronomers doing science outreach on YouTube and social media. Star Tres started in 2013 and is currently known as one of the main astronomy outreach initiatives in Chile and Latin America. Star Tres was recognized as one of the "100 Young Leaders" in Chile, on its 2018 edition. Thanks to Star Tres, I also had the opportunity to develop my illustration skills, by publishing an illustrated 2020 calendar with the Universidad de Santiago publishing house.
