Driven by my attraction to technology and entrepreneurship, I co-founded a technological company when I was at university. Along with my teammates, we won several national innovation competitions and created a prototype, but when we needed to scale up the product we ran out of funding. Struggling to attract investment in the middle of a financial crisis (2007-2008) was quite tough, and we couldn´t even dream of an opportunity for start-ups and SMEs in Europe like the EIC Accelerator Programme from Horizon Europe.I learned a lot about the business side during that time and I really enjoyed it, so I decided to improve my business skills by completing an Executive MBA that provided me with a holistic vision of the business, including strategy, operations, and financials.Taking advantage of these skills and my professional background in managerial positions -operations, projects and processes-, I have been working on the EIC Accelerator (and previously in the SME Phase 2 Instrument) since 2017, collaborating with companies all around Europe to get over €38M in funding for their innovative solutions.Discovering disruptive and challenging solutions from promising European entrepreneurs is fascinating. I really enjoy contributing to bring them to the next level.
