Since I was 7 years old, technology has been my unwavering passion. From my early days exploring the world of tech with an AMSTRAD CPC6128, to dreaming of being part of the film 'Wargames (1983)', my fascination with technology continues to drive me forward.Currently, I am fortunate to work at Softcrits in sunny Málaga, where I am exposed to a diverse range of projects that continuously fuel my growth as a software engineer. With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I have honed my skills in crafting clean and efficient code that not only delivers exceptional results but also fosters a positive team dynamic.I am an avid learner, consistently staying at the forefront of industry trends by actively participating in tech events, both in person and online, and immersing myself in new technologies and programming languages. These experiences shape my ability to innovate and adapt to the evolving needs of the industry. In addition to my software engineering expertise, I have a strong affinity for IoT projects. I actively engage in various side projects, such as leveraging Home Assistant with sensors to create smart home automation solutions. The challenge of bridging the physical and digital realms continues to captivate me.Collaboration lies at the heart of my approach. I firmly believe in the power of teamwork and open-source principles. I actively participate in events like Hacktoberfest, leveraging the opportunity to remotely collaborate with like-minded individuals worldwide and contribute to creating free tools that benefit the entire community.I also enjoy participating in events like 'Advent of code' during my spare time, solving proposed problems that not only sharpen my skills but also provide an outlet for creative problem-solving.If you share a passion for technology or seek collaboration in open-source projects, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am always eager to connect with fellow tech enthusiasts and explore new opportunities.

This system involved hardware design and integration as well as a full stack application deployed in the Cloud. - Softgreen, an IoT application that provides a smart irrigation system of green areas, its algorithms provide a save of water of approximately 30%. This system involved hardware design and integration as well as a full stack application deployed in the Cloud. - iTank, an IoT application that manages the pump of water from a one tank to a remote one efficiently, saving energy, water and minimizing human resources to this task. This system involved hardware design and integration as well as a full stack application deployed in the Cloud - WISE, during Covid the levels of CO2 in close ambients where crutial to fight agains the disease. This application is a system that provided a real time monitoring of CO2 levels and also calculate and operate the ventilation of rooms. It involved the integration of different hardwares and also a full stack application deployed in the Cloud. Throughout these projects, we used an agile approach that fostered collaboration, flexibility, and iterative improvements, allowing us to adapt to evolving requirements and deliver high-quality products within demanding timeframes. In a commitment to software quality we used Sonarqube to ensure the quality of the software developed. Show less -
