For most of my life I’ve had a quote from H.C. Andersen leading me – “To travel is to live”. This principle guided me through my university years while studying Hospitality and Tourism Management and through years of working in the industry in sunny Spain for 10+ years. My passion for Scandinavia and Baltic Countries started when I took my first trip to Finnish Lapland. Since then, I have been travelling in northern countries as much as I can and talked with as many locals as possible. I believe that travelling is the best way to open our minds to new ideas and appreciation to what the world has to offer. But I also believe that it is time to put more emphasis to the protection of the destinations we all love to visit and make sure that the local communities are happy and benefiting from their hospitality. And so, together with two friends, we founded Nexus Polaris DMC in the hopes of bringing these beliefs to life.
