As Managing Partner of Suárez Tijerina, he is successfully guiding the boutique law firm toward its 5-year milestone while establishing a distinguished presence in the Banking & Finance sector. With over 12 years of teaching experience at prestigious universities, Javier's career reflects his commitment to legal education. His extensive background in top-tier law firms and federal courts has helped shape his long-term vision and strategic perspective. Javier was recently elected as the 58th President of The International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi during the 64th General Convention in Washington, D.C. As one of the few Latin Americans to hold this position, Javier sees his role as an opportunity to break barriers and pave the way for more diverse leadership in global organizations. In this capacity, Javier is focused on shaping the ‘Phi 200 Vision’, a roadmap to transform the Society into a results-driven organization as it approaches its 200th anniversary in 2069. As President of ANADE Nuevo León for the 2023-2024 period, Javier led the association to a historic membership of 300+ lawyers, significantly increasing the involvement of Chief Legal Officers, General Counsels, and In-House Practitioners. During his tenure, charitable donations from members have tripled, reflecting his dedication to social responsibility.
